CC-Link IE Field

These Controllers support the new CC-Link IE Field, which enables easier introduction for machine and equipment manufacturers. They respond to high-speed and high-precision inspection needs in inspection and measurement processes at production sites.

  • * CC-Link IE Field is open network that has been developed by CC-Link IE Association in 2007.
    There are "CC-Link IE Control" for large controller network and "CC-Link IE Field" for field network.

Robot Vision

  • *This function is also implemented in software version 4.0 or later of IV-S300M/S310M/S300J.

Easy Setup Industrial Robots

Cameras detect the location of the object or inspect object and provide industrial robots with coordinate data needed to operate.

  • *This is compatible with four types of robot [orthogonal, SCARA (horizontally articulated), vertically articulated and parallel link].
  • *Automatically executes the maximum calibration* in the camera field of view in addition to being able to calibrate in each direction of the X-axis, Y-axis and ZR-axis.
  • *Cameras can be mounted both downward or upward.
  • *This involves making corrections and adjustments for even more accurate recognition.

    Detects the gap between target position and the work grabbed position, and correct the position to be placed.

Stage Alignment

  • *This function is also implemented in software version 4.0 or later of IV-S300M/S310M/S300J.

Realization of Quick and Reliable Positioning

The camera detects the position of the object and the amount of stage movement on the device is calculated based on this coordinate data. This makes alignment and position correction possible.

  • *Alignment Function

    -Object alignment stages are (XY, XYθ, XYY).

    -The amount of stage movement to the reference position is calculated by locating the pattern for alignment.

  • *Auto Calibration Function

    -Calculate the moving distance to displacement.

    -Execute calibration for six points (starting and ending points for each direction< XYθ>) automatically.

    -Also calculate parameter automatically that will take time if adjusted manually.

- Execute calibration automatically for following six-points including rotational direction.

Alignment

Ex. 1: Align the target with the designated point of the camera coordinates Ex. 2: Align the target mark to the objective position by shooting and detecting the target position and objective position simultaneously Ex. 3: Set the objective position by shooting in advance and then align so that the target mark always comes to this position in subsequent inspections

Ex. 4: Concurrent Alignment by two cameras

It is possible to align the target to the objective position by shooting and detecting two target positions and two objective positions simultaneously using two cameras in the XYθ and XYY stages.

CC-Link IE Field Compatible

High speed/Large Capacity transmission

SHARP is the first in industry* to have CC-Link IE Field standard equipped on the products in the Ethernet basis integrated network system that enable higher speed and larger capacity data communication compare to our conventional models (IV-S300M/IV-S310M) which respond to CC-Link.

“CC-Link IE Field” enables connection with a conventional Ethernet cable in addition to ensuring the reliability of control communications by dividing the bandwidth into “control communications (e.g. input/output signals and measurement data)” and “management communications (e.g. connected device information).”

VNC* Server Functions

Remote Operation

VNC server equipped on the controller allows you to operate controller remotely, which is connected to server, from the devices VNC viewer installed.

Wi-Fi connection Image

Connection from a tablet by connecting a Wi-Fi master unit to the controller. (It is necessary to install VNC Viewer on the tablet.)

  • *This is the abbreviation for Virtual Network Computing. VNC is remote desktop software that connects to a different computer through a network to make it possible to call and operate that desktop screen. There are two kinds of software: the VNC server and VNC client.
