Sharp Festivals Present Environmental Exhibit

In June 2004, Sharp's Mie site attracted about 2,500 visitors to a special "Get in Touch with Sharp" festival in the town of Taki. At the festival, Sharp invited the public to see the Mie site's environmental efforts, including its wastewater treatment process, in an easy-to-understand multimedia exhibit using videos, panels, and site reports.



Later on, in November 2004, the Mihara site hosted a Sharp Festival to give neighboring residents a clear view of the site's environmental efforts. At the event, information panels and brochures detailed its environmental performance and business operations along with Sharp's environmental reports and a range of products on display.
