FU-R60CH/FU-R51CH Home-Use Air Purifiers

Sharp has taken air purification and deodorizing power to a whole new level with its new home-use air purifiers. The FU-R60CH/FU-R51CH models boast not only a new Vaporization Mist^*1 function, but also a newly developed Plasmacluster Ion Generator that doubles the amount of Plasmacluster Ions released to neutralize airborne molds, allergens such as mites and pollen, as well as viruses and the like. With a power consumption of 3W^*2 and standby power consumption of 0.3W, they are also the most energy-efficient products in their class^*3. They employ double-covered cabtyre cords and eliminate the use of the six RoHS substances^*4 through their safety- and environmentally conscious design.

While pursuing a thin profile, lighter weight, and space-saving design, these AQUOS models are environmentally friendly through and through. Power consumption is only 315W for the 45V-inch model, 199W for the 37V-inch, 149W for the 32V-inch, and 124W for the 26V-inch. The backlight is designed to last approximately 60,000 hours; the printed circuit boards use lead-free solder; all power cords and inner wiring eliminate the use of PVC. The cabinet is made of halogen-free material that generates hardly any dioxins when incinerated; the speaker grills employ easy-to-recycle stainless steel; the stand uses resin containing a 20% mix of recycled material; and the packaging is made of 100% recycled polystyrene foam.
