WSEC Carries Out Eco Education for 130 children at an Elementary School (China)

Staff members from WSEC give lessons

Children are willing to answer questions

Sharp’s affiliated companies in China hold eco education lessons for elementary schools in China, in cooperation with the China National Committee for the Wellbeing of the Youth.*1

On October 28, Wuxi Sharp Electronic Components Co., Ltd. (WSEC), which manufactures LCD modules and electronic parts, held environmental education lessons for a local elementary school in Wuxi, following the environmental education held at an elementary school in Changshu in September.

In the class, staff members from WSEC acted as teachers and gave lessons on global environmental issues and others. Participating 130 pupils listened to those classes in earnest, and raised their hands to express opinions actively when they were asked questions.

Sharp’s affiliated companies in China will continue providing eco education for elementary schools so that their children have opportunities to raise their environmental awareness while they are still young.

  • *1 A committee is comprised of retired local governmental executives and company executives, and carries out various activities, in order to promote the sound development of the next generation youth. The committee kindly provides the Sharp's affiliates in China with advices on their eco education lessons for elementary schools.
