On Wednesday, June 6 and Friday, June 8, SEID*
(Sharp's manufacture and sales company in Indonesia) visited a local
kindergarten and women's organization, and opened an on-site course
to enhance their environmental mind.
At the local kindergarten "KT AL-ATQIA", an employee of
SEID explained clearly the importance of tackling the environmental
problems and about 30 children listened to him with great interest.
SEID donated books, a whiteboard and young trees for planting.
At "Daarush Sa' adah", the local women's institution, SEID
employees exchanged views and opinions with about 100 women on how
to prevent littering.
Moreover, on Thursday, June 7, SEID held a blood donation campaign
at the in-house health clinic, and as many as 150 employees participated
in it. A number of employees were in line at the reception desk, which
showed the high concern of SEID employees for social contribution.
