SSI* arranged Environmental Awareness Week on September 3 to 11 in order to develop environmental awareness of employees and their family. About 300 people participated in the events conducted during this week: 1) the environmental slogan and poster competition, 2) photos exhibition of emergency preparation drill, and social contribution activities by SSI Green Club and 3) emergency preparation drill as the main event of this Week.

Although SSI conducted this event for the first time, active participation by the employees and their family brought great results in the respect of developing their environmental awareness. SSI is planning to arrange the similar event beyond the environmental issue next year.
