On November 7th, Sharp Electronics (Singapore) Pte., Ltd. (SESL) held a
cleanup campaign at a local beach along East Coast Park in the southeastern Singapore and 60
employees and students of a local high school enjoyed it.
The campaign was supported by NPO the Green Volunteers Network affiliate in Singapore Environment
Council, a national council on the environment in Singapore educating, inspiring and assisting
individuals, business organizations and environmental groups to care for and protect the environment
SESL believes this event has improved environmental awareness of participants. Also, SESL realized
the importance of contribution to the society through enhancement of 3R (Reduce/Reuse/Recycle).
