Sharp-Roxy Corporation (M) Sdn. Bhd.(SRC: a manufacturing company in Malaysia) gave environmental awareness talks to children and students aged 6 to 16 in March.

At an orphanage and a primary school, a lecturer from SRC presented on the theme of "The Recycling Habit Starts from a Young Age". He gave practical advice on saving resources, such as using a handkerchief instead of tissues and a mug instead of disposable paper cups. SRC also donated stationery and books to the home.

At a secondary school, he gave a talk on environmental issues to 53 students. He explained about such critical problems as global warming and acid rain, and introduced SRC's efforts to preserve the environment through such measures as utilizing rainwater and proper waste segregation.
