AQUOS Experience Tour Rolls Through China

On February 2, 2008, Shanghai became the site for the closing ceremony of the AQUOS Experience Tour.
This tour gives visitors a close-up look at the beautiful image quality, stylish design, and cutting-edge technology of AQUOS, Sharp's large full-HD LCD TVs. The tour began on December 6, 2007 when three AQUOS trailers opened the 24-city tour simultaneously in Harbin, Chongqing, and Shenzhen.
Recently, there is an urgent demand growing for flat-panel TVs in China. In response to this trend, last year Sharp began expanding its product line in China and it is currently promoting AQUOS with an advertising campaign featuring Chinese actress René Liu.

As part of Sharp's social charitable activities, the AQUOS LCD TVs displayed during the tour are auctioned off at the closing ceremony.
The proceeds go towards constructing elementary schools in cooperation with the charity Project Hope*.
