For some time, Sharp has enforced the Sharp Charter of Conduct as a guide for all its activities. However, factors like the globalization of economies and the increasing urgency of environmental problems have altered the business environment and placed greater demands for corporate social responsibility on companies.

Under these circumstances, with the aim of gaining the further trust of society and becoming a company that contributes to a sustainable world, Sharp recently revised its Sharp Charter of Conduct and formulated the Sharp Group Charter of Corporate Behavior and the Sharp Code of Conduct.

The Sharp Group Charter of Corporate Behavior details principles of corporate action uniformly across the entire Group, while the Sharp Code of Conduct is a standard of action for all executives and employees. By having all Group companies, as well as executives and employees, abide by both of these in all activities, Sharp is carrying out its social roles and responsibilities to the best of its abilities.
