Sharp Corporation will host an exhibit in the Home & Personal
Zone of the Digital Network Stage at CEATEC Japan 2008, a comprehensive trade
show of cutting-edge IT and electronics products, to be held from September
30 through October 4, 2008 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.
Sharp will display its one-of-a-kind products, including its
extensive lineup of lifestyle-enhancing AQUOS LCD TVs, AQUOS Blu-ray Disc
products, mobile phones, and electronic dictionaries, and will introduce
its efforts to become an environmentally advanced company.
1. Audio—Visual Products Corner
Here, Sharp will showcase its impressive lineup of AQUOS LCD TVs, including the premium model R Series, the many models of the living-room-centerpiece G Series, and the multiple color choices of the D Series.
2. AQUOS Blu—ray Disc Corner
Visitors will see how easy it is to do so much with AQUOS Blu-ray Disc products, like enjoy immaculate images even in 5X extra-long recording mode, and record all audio tracks and supporting data from TV shows even in 3X mode.
3. Corporate Vision Corner—an Environmentally Advanced Company
Sharp will show the public how it is aiming to be carbon neutral through its energy-creating solar power products and its energy-saving LCD and LED products.
4. Mobile Phone and Electronic Dictionary Corner
Visitors will be able to try out the features of such unique handsets as a touch-panel phone, the One-Seg mobile phone, and an ultra-mobile PC.
5. Sharp-Pioneer Collaboration Corner
Fusing the state-of-the-art image and audio expertise of the two companies will
give birth to a new world of audio and video products. Through the first-ever
demonstrations of the fruits of this collaboration, Sharp will show how a seamless
integration of Sharp's AQUOS LCD TVs and mobile phones with Pioneer's car navigation
systems will make these technologies an ubiquitous part of the convenient and
comfortable lifestyles of the future.
