TV Audio-Visual Technologies

To make full use of high-quality LCD panels, high-level TV audio-visual technology is necessary.

Buildup of technologies began with the first TV in Japan

Since commercializing Japan’s first TV in 1953, Sharp has been building up its TV audio-visual technologies. It was Sharp who first pointed to the possibilities of LCD TV during the golden age of CRT TV. And now, in the era of digital high-resolution images, super high-resolution images are required for LCD TVs. To meet this requirement, not only high-quality panels, but also a high level of TV audio-visual technology, which can make full use of panel functions, are necessary. Sharp’s TV audio-visual technologies give full play to Advanced Super View LCD and produce vivid, detailed images on AQUOS.
