The DX-SX1 is an SACD/CD compatible player with high
quality sound reproduction. When playing SACDs a frequency range of
2 Hz -- 100 kHz and a dynamic range of 105 dB are realised.
*Upcoming multi-channel SACDs are played back with
the 2 front channels.

Connecting SHARP's 1-bit amplifier and SACD player with a special
13-pin cable, SACD's 1-bit signal stream is transmitted directly and
amplified with virtually no signal deterioration or loss.

Aluminum die-cast CD tray, zinc die-cast base chassis and vibration-resistant
steel top plate give DX-SX1's slim body high-durability and high-reliability,
while a super-slim 1-lens 2-beam pickup for decoding both SACDs and
CDs realises compactness.

The DX-SX1 plays SACDs quickly within 7 seconds (approx.) after
pressing the Play key.

|
Heptahedrical and mirror-faced, the DX-SX1 is compact and slim and
is designed to match sonically and visually with SHARP's 1-bit amplifier,
the SM-SX1.
