Whenever pages are printed, copied, scanned or faxed, your digital device retains data in its internal memory. With your data stored in this way, it is vulnerable to being retrieved by unauthorised personnel. To prevent such risks to your valuable information, Sharp has developed a solution: the risk-free, high-security system of the AR-M450/M350 with the optional Data Security Kit installed. This system automatically encrypts and erases from the internal memory the temporary document data generated for each print, copy, network scan or fax job. This helps protect your confidential information from even the most sophisticated threats. An essential utility, recommended to all those who handle sensitive information.
The optional AR-NC5J print server card prevents access by unauthorized users and keeps confidential information safe while you are printing via the network. Only users with registered IP (Internet Protocol) or MAC (Media Access Control) addresses can access the AR-M450/M350.
