Case Studies
NWUSS, designated a Super Science High School by the Japanese government, prioritises science, technology, and mathematics. Experiments in physics, chemistry, and biology are held in the school lab, where teachers use supplementary teaching materials created on a PC. Before the installation of Sharp's interactive whiteboards, the teachers had been using a projector to show their materials.
Sharp's interactive whiteboards have a wealth of convenient features and such high resolution that even the tiniest part of a specimen can be vividly displayed.
The teachers at NWUSS plan to make the most of Sharp's interactive whiteboards to create more meaningful lessons. They also hope to boost their students' interest in science by using the whiteboards to display things not visible to the naked eye, such as DNA and the world of molecular biology.
